Meet Chris Mayson

Chris was born and raised in England and was hooked on golf when he made his first hole in one at the age of 8. At the time he was the youngest person in the British Isles to achieve such a shot. His love of golf grew from there and he quickly made strides on the junior circuit representing England in golf tournaments throughout the world. Chris received the highest honor in golf when he captained the England Schools Team in the European Championships.

Due to Chris’ accomplishments around the world he was offered ten scholarships to over ten US Colleges including Northwestern and Tennessee. He eventually decided on Purdue University. Chris became the first ever Big Ten freshman of the year for Purdue, where he also received All Big Ten honors when leading the Boilermakers to 2 NCAA Central Regional Titles and a 7
th place finish in the 2002 NCAA Championships.

After Graduating with a degree in Sports Psychology, Chris moved to San Diego to realize his goal of being a professional golfer. He had a successful first couple of years playing over nine different tours throughout the world with over twenty top ten finishes to his name. Injury cut his career short in 2006, and Chris now uses his extensive experience to help golfers reach their true potential.


Teaching Experience

Chris has extensively studied the golf swing and game of golf for over 13 years. He has been fortunate enough to receive lessons from many illustrious golf instructors, and played with some of the best players in the world. He has used these experiences to garner a great understanding of the physics of golf a training method that is second to none, and more importantly is able to achieve great results out of anyone with any swing

Chris was featured in the golf instruction book “Golf” by Paul Ashwell, on the cover of Golf Now Chicago, he was the model for “The Perfect Swing” in a golf instructional DVD, and famously shown as the ideal swing in the Medicus Driver Infomercial.
